Enforcement of Monetary Judgments and Arbitral Awards Rendered Against Russia

In this research our Institute explores the issue of the recognition and enforcement of Ukrainian courts’ judgements and arbitral awards, rendered against Russia. We examine particular jurisdictions of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France and states of the Sahel region, as well as regimes of recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, given the judgement debtor is sovereign state. Departing from traditional research methods in this field, we employ military academia-inspired approaches to adopt a holistic perspective and develop practical solutions to improve the effectiveness of enforcement strategies.
