Top 5 topics in Russian media for the week (June 5-11, 2023)

The traditionally predominant topic of "SMO" in Russian media has been exchanged by the "undermining of the Kakhovka HPP dam" with high coverage intensity. The other topics have not undergone any significant changes - "sanctions" and "war in Ukraine" (as a more accurate name for what is happening) took the third and fourth lines of the rating, respectively. Interest in the "mobilization" topic was due to another round of tightening state control over conscripts. The main reason for that is the draft resolution of Ministry of Defence on new rules for military registration without a personal appearance at the military enlistment office based on data from state information resources.
The information space was analysed using a refined methodology based on monitoring 3200 Russian websites, telegram channels, YouTube channels, and significant accounts on VKontakte, Instagram and Facebook.
