The crash of the Embraer Legacy 600 involving Yevgeny Prigozhin propelled the Wagner Group to the top of the list of most mentioned terms in the Russian information field. This leap happened not only due to the tragic demise of the top leadership of the private military company but also due to abundant conspiratorial interpretations of the possible reasons behind the incident. The other participants in the top 5 are pretty expected: the Ukrainian counteroffensive, NATO, defence, and the Russian army.

The information space was analysed using a refined methodology based on monitoring 3200 Russian websites, telegram channels, YouTube channels, and significant accounts on VKontakte, Instagram and Facebook.
