Russia is vigorously discussing the prospects of Ukraine being supplied with depleted uranium weapons

The Russian Foreign Ministry has commented that London's supply of such weapons to Kyiv "demonstrates their intention to raise the level of confrontation in Ukraine". The diplomatic department warned that such a decision would not stay without a response. Aside from numerous Kremlin "military experts", even President of Belarus, Lukashenko, has come out against such discredited armaments. "The moment these munitions explode on positions of Russian troops, the answer will be devastating for the planet", he said.
Transferring munitions with depleted uranium to Kyiv is not a nuclear escalation. This is an ordinary projectile with an enhanced penetrating capacity, capable of penetrating armour up to one meter thick. According to the head of the British Foreign Ministry, there is no threat to Russia, and it is about "helping Ukraine defend itself". The information stream of supposedly "horrible environmental consequences" is a propaganda invention.
