The law on electronic military summonses was able to shake up Russian society. The new system of drafting for military service will affect at least 25 million Russians. Society's concern was caused by the exclusive right of military commissariats to impose restrictions on leaving the country, conducting real estate transactions, using a car, and much more. It is important to emphasise, that only the direct threat of going to war in Ukraine was able to break through the walls of propaganda and make society react to the adopted law.
Draft dodgers will be fought with the help of an electronic military registration database. The authorities are preparing for a new call-up of conscripts and, possibly, a new wave of mobilization.
They want to recruit for contracted military service immediately after school.
